Just before she has to hand it in, LOLA’s brothers mess up an assignment she had been working hard on. Though she ticks her off for the presentation, the TEACHER praises LOLA in front of the whole class for the content of her work. VIRGINIA, who had handed in an impeccably-presented assignment, is not even mentioned. VIRGINIA is absolutely furious. Meanwhile, LOLA is desperate to buy some roller-blades. As she has no money, she answers an advert in the paper for someone to water the plants and look after the cat while the homeowner is away. It turns out that the person who placed the ad is none other than the TEACHER. LOLA gets the job and goes to her house, eager to fulfil her mission. But VIRGINIA, seeking revenge, will do everything she can to make LOLA look bad in front of the teacher.
