It’s coming up to the city’s School Olympics and this year they are being held at San Lorenzo High School. The organising committee has decided that the torch-bearer should be a female athlete from this school. This girl must meet one condition – she must have achieved at least one sporting victory in inter-school competitions. At San Lorenzo, as far as anyone knows, there is just one student who fulfils this requirement - POPPY. LOLA and HAIDÉ are overjoyed at the news. Their joy, however, is short-lived, as VIRGINIA questions this, claiming that she too is a champion – in her case in horse-riding.
