Even at a scaled-down size, the sci-fi car dazzled on the red carpet during the movie's premiere at the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, along with leading stars Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis and Abigail Breslin. For the movie's launch, the Audi design team built an illuminated model at a scale of 1:4. In contrast, the car that was driven in the movie by Harrison Ford, alias Hyrum Graff, exists only in the virtual world.
