John Bloom, a successful teenage actor, disappears without trace and, under cover, starts at Lola’s school. John is fleeing from fame because he wants to be a normal boy and have real friends. Lola discovers his true identity but, when she realises what his personal motives are, she promises to keep his secret. The crisis begins when Virginia also finds out who he is. For Virginia, this is a fantastic opportunity to leap to fame.
