The new Audi TT has shed 50kg compared to the outgoing model thanks to the use of lighter and more rigid materials, including aluminum for the body and tempered steel for the cabin. Naturally, the reduced weight has an impact on the car's handling and performance, allowing the Audi TT to help close the gap with its main rival, the Porsche Boxster. The coupe is available with three powertrains, which range from 184hp for the diesel option (14hp more than the outgoing version) to 230hp for the fuel engine (+19hp).
