Fred wishes he could look older, so Nora would like him as much as her pop star crush “Romeo Romero.” When he learns about the hair growth bugs that made Brains grow a beard-- he purposely uses them on himself. Now, whenever Friday shaves it off their beards, they grow back longer!

08 Girlfriends are a girl's Best Friend

Fred pushes Brains to try to get more girlfriends, and fit in more at school. Since other girls are all reading the “Ghostlight” books, Brains tries it, and gets hooked. Fred doesn’t get the books girly appeal, and worries that he’s going to lose Brains to her new girly romance-loving crowd.

Fred insists Brains let him watch over her lab while she visits her father’s Space Station. She agrees under one rule: “Don’t press the red button.” The entire time she’s gone, he can think of nothing else.

When Friday demolishes the fan favorite however, instead of cheering Fred, they mourn “Speedy” the crushed bot. Brains rebuilds Speedy and her own girl robot, “Little Miss Missile Hands.”
